Since we are now a member of the prestigious Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), our dedication is centred on developing, designing, and producing a place of unforgettable and compelling experience. With that being said, we are proud to announce that I Am Career City is opening its doors as Canada’s first real mini city for kids in 2017! This edutainment indoor theme park will be the first of its kind. We are so excited!

The plethora of research that we compiled thus far, stems partly from the graph that illustrates the worlds top indoor entertainment industries and its primary focus (Coy, 2013). Needless to say, the highest percentage of focus is on the rising phenomenon of the edutainment sector. This ‘edutainment’ sector is a hybrid on the interlinking of entertainment and education.

The graph highlights the significance of the edutainment industry. I Am Career City envisioned the potential it has and saw it as an opportunity to present this business model into Canada. We saw the need to pursue the advancement of this type of industry in our community and as a result, our business plan is constructed to incorporate around the edutainment phenomenon. We want to replicate this idea and with this pursuit in mind, I Am Career City is dedicated to create an experience built upon the foundation of a strong and fun educational curriculum, with the goal of becoming a top entertainment centre for children and youth of Canada.
